I am a Canadian who chose to seek treatment for Lip-edema in my legs and arms, specifically with Dr. Freschi. I chose him based on a referral from another Canadian who had received treatment for the same condition. I could not be happier that I did. From the start of my experience, Dr. Freschi was very responsive to my multiple email questions. Once I arrived in Buenos Aires, Dr. Freschi gave me his personal contact information, met with me, answered any remaining questions, explained the process and surgery and left me feeling at ease about the choice I had made.

For the post-surgery and follow-up, he went above and beyond to assure that my care was first class. He even assisted with a travel related problem I had, which was truly above and beyond. I stayed in Buenos Aires.

My post-care and results can be summed up in this message I sent to Dr. Freschi when I returned home. “Dr. Freschi, I cried tears of joy at the gym today. I used to be a runner when I was young. Over time, my legs got too heavy with lip-edema and I could not run anymore I blew out my knee in 2012 pushing myself. I have been working with a personal trainer for the last year and a half and the fastest I could run on the treadmill was 5.5 speed. Today, just 3 weeks post-op, I was sprinting at a 9.0. A 9.0!! My legs could lift, they weren’t heavy. They worked like real legs. I am so proud of myself. This surgery was life changing for me. I have new working legs. Thank you so much. I will be forever grateful.”

Both Dr. Freschi’s clinic and the hospital where the surgery was performed were modern, clean and very professional. Dr. Freschi and his staff are fluent in English and so was the Anesthesiologist at the hospital. Most of the hospital staff speak Spanish (of course) and I don’t, but I didn’t find it to be difficult to communicate and the staff were very patient with my use of Google Translate. I would highly recommend Dr. Freschi and a trip to Buenos Aires for lip-edema treatment.
